Presenter Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

In IRS 2022 each day starts with a plenary Union Session with presentations of keynote speakers on 4, 5 and 6 July, and the talks of the Gold Medal and the Young scientist awardees on 7 July. All sessions after the morning coffee break are running in parallel in 4 different rooms. Please consult the detailed Programme for more information.

The time allocated for all oral presentations is 15 min in total, including 2–3 min discussion at the end of each talk. Keynote speakers will be given 30 min, including 3 min discussion. As there will be 4 sessions running in parallel, it is essential to keep the times as scheduled in the Programme.

Each room will be equipped with a laptop PC, a LCD projector, microphones and a laser pointer. Please note that you cannot use your own laptop for your presentation. Presenters of oral talks must hand in their presentations in PowerPoint or PDF formats to the designated desk at the entrance hall of the Conference center, preferably by the end of the previous day and at the latest during the break (coffee or lunch) before the respective session. Please include in the filename the abstract ID number and make sure that the presentation shows correctly. Files can be delivered either in a flash drive or sent by e-mail to info@irs2022.org. If you use e-mail, please verify with the secretariat that your presentation has been delivered correctly. Note that all files will be deleted at the end of each day and the secretariat is not allowed to provide copies of the presentations to other participants.

Please contact the session chair(s) and identify yourself during the break, shortly before the start of your session.
